Approved Dance Teacher

Everyone knows the importance of finding a good dance teacher, someone who is not only qualified but who will also be able to encourage learning and help instill a passion for dance in the student. Membership

Level of Membership

We have a range of membership categories to best suit our members requirements.

There are three levels of teaching qualification the first being Associate level, progressing to Licentiate or Member and finally Fellowship.

Student Teacher/ Provisional membership
Individuals who pass a Student Teacher exam may apply for provisional membership at a reduced annual subscription rate while working towards gaining their Associate qualification. Student teachers must qualify in their designated field within two years.

Non Active
This is available to members who hold Associate Status, Licentiate or Fellowship and who are not actively teaching or entering candidates for examinations.
